Kingbee, a fleet management company and roll out partner with Canoo held a special ride and drive event today for their clients to familiarize themselves with the up and coming future of light commercial vans.
They had two vans on hand, a fully up-fitted LDV and a gamma version of the 7 passenger
Lifestyle Vehicle. We reached out for comment from Kingbee and they were kind enough to share photos from the summit and give us some additional color on the Kingbee/Canoo rollout.
As you are probably already aware, Kingbee placed a binding order for 9300 EVs from Canoo with the option to double it to a total of 18,600! They are anticipating 100 being added to their fleet by the end of this year and around 1000 by the end of 2024. According to Kingbee, they are keeping an open mind to being flexible with the delivery timeline as they understand that manufacturing a new vehicle is notoriously difficult.
We look forward to seeing what commercials Kingbee comes up with featuring the Canoo LDVs, as they have a particular brand of humor and aren't afraid to let loose.
